Well, I was determined to have this done before the next episode of MLP and, by god I keep to my word, even if its only by a few hours. Sometimes. Really, it's quite rare that I do so in this context.
Too bad meeting that deadline and procrastinating on it in the last few weeks came at the price of my plans for an actual background mutating into an Earthbound-like visualizer-on-acid battle scene. D'oh well. I can dig it. :iconpinkamenatwitchplz:

Who would win the staring contest? As the minutes turned into hours and into days, it remained an open question. But with the sweltering sun hanging motionless in the sky and crops begging to scorch under its heat, everyone hoped the battle would conclude soon.
