Quite a fun challenge, though there were ultimately some annoying problems in actually finalizing it. Still though, I'm glad to have done it!

How do you shrink a 100 x 100 icon into a 50 x 50 one?

I actually made the icon in 50 x 50 and expanded it to 100 x 100 for the actual deviation... but there are in fact some GIF animation programs that let you mess around with the size of a whole animation very easily. Such as Easy GIF Animator _{(it's not free, but does come with a generous trial period and is very much worth the price, I'd say)}, or the site GIF Magic _{(a little hokey looking and limited, but it actually works very well for this purpose, and IS free).}
